| Details | I have noticed an issue with Internet Explorer (6 and 7 I do believe) where the Enter key does not post form data in webPages. Clicking the submit button does work, but so many users are in the habit of typing data and hitting Enter that it has become an issue.
For example, http://portal.company.com/webPages/search.jsp. Using the search form in IE, if a user enters a last name and hits enter, no results are displayed. Clicking Search works fine. A user was adding a category in her Documents template. Out of habit, she entered the category name and hit Enter, which resulted in a blank screen. She went back and used the submit button and it worked fine. Checked Firefox and it seems to work fine. |
