Distributing Reports |

Stoneware understands that it is more than just getting a report. Users want easy access to information in a fashion that matches the way they work.
Sometimes it is possible to be overwhelmed with information. Piles of reports and papers stack up on our desks and we are almost powerless to sift through it all. To address this issue Stoneware's Report Services provides "Exception-based" reporting. Exception-based reporting allows "business events" to trigger report generation and distribution. Often manager are more interested in a report when an exception has occurred or a benchmark has been exceeded. Exception reports are sent only when a specific business condition has been met (i.e. - inventory level has dropped below a specific number of units, a past due invoice is over 60 days, or overtime has exceeded 20% of payroll). With exception reporting, managers and executives can stop wading through piles of data and act upon reports that have been driven by business events. |
