Full Installation - Evaluation

When you click DONE, webNetwork will start in the background, you will see a pop up message asking you to wait a bit before continuing. This will give webNetwork a chance to start up before your browser is launched.

The installer will attempt to launch your default web browser and take you to https://127.0.0.1

The webNetwork management console can be accessed via http://127.0.0.1:8090

Please read the Quick Start Evaluation Guide at http://www.stone-ware.com/cloud/downloads/products.html for more information on using the evaluation of webNetwork 5.

Full Installation - Licensed

For a licensed install, when you click Done, the installer will exit. After that, you may start web network up by hand. Below are your choices in starting web network. It is recommended that you use the first option while initially setting up web network.

Windows
  Click on the desktop icon.
  Run c:\stoneware\bin\webnetwork.exe
  Start the windows service.

Linux / Unix
  Click on the desktop icon.
  /usr/stoneware/bin/webNetwork

After that, bring up the webNetwork management console at http://127.0.0.1:8090 to complete your install.

Full Installation - Upgrade

For a licensed upgrade install, when you click Done, the installer will exit. After upgrading all of your webNetwork servers you can start things back up like you normally would.

You are encouraged to use a Login Policy for your relays, this will allow you to take advantage of many new features of webNetwork. The login page when using a Login Policy is called LoginPolicy.jsp. If you are not using a Login Policy on your relay, then the login page is NoLoginPolicy.jsp. You can modify the appropriate file with your customizations for the login page.

The changes made to webNetwork in Enhancement Pack 2 can be found at http://www.stone-ware.com/cloud/support/swdownloads/wn5200/wn5200.txt
EP2 also contains all previous hotfixes for webNetwork 5.1.0.x

Relay Central

If you do not use Relay Central then you can ignore this information.

If you use Relay Central to sync files from a master server to your other relays AND you have your master files in a location other than where stoneware is installed, please continue reading.

Assume your relay central is configured to use d:\relay-central-files\webserv and d:\relay-central-files\webserv-sec
After this update you will need to copy the files from c:\stoneware\webserv and c:\stoneware\webserv-sec to your d:\relay-central-files directories
If you do not do this, then the new files from this update will not be synchronized properly to all of your relays.

Many customers do not change the path of relay central files from the location of the stoneware directory, if this is your case then you don't have to worry about copying these files by hand.
