It seems that you can't launch more than one instance of the applications.
For example: :  I launch writer.  It launches fine.  I leave it open.  I then try to launch calc (this is a different webapp).  I get a document recovery error (because it is trying to open the document that I have open in writer).  I cancel that and it opens writer instead of calc.
