McCarran Airport

McCarran International Airport (LAS) is the principal commercial airport serving Las Vegas and surrounding Clark County, Nevada. McCarran and the four general aviation facilities in the Clark County Airport System are owned by Clark County, Nevada and operated by the Clark County Department of Aviation.

Challenges
• provide executive managers with easy access to their applications and data remotely when traveling, and offsite.

• allow corporate airline executives to view very sensitive and proprietary data related to resident airline departures/arrivals and performance.

• accommodate frequent collaboration of confidential files and data with outside IT contractors and other organizations like the Transportation Security Administration.

Solution
Stoneware’s webNetwork now provides McCarran the opportunity to quickly, safely, securely and individually provide remote, real-time access of data and applications to all airport and executive staff, transportation/safety organizations and external contractors for improved airport performance, cost savings and efficiency.

Through a single point of tiered, web-based access these audiences can view email, collaborate on large file documents, view security videos, review work in progress, keep close tabs on airline performance statistics, and much more – wherever they are, safely securely and individually.
